Joe implores you to get involved like he did but his legacy is not in defiance of the erosion of trust in political institutions but a testament of why the system is of low esteem. A place where plagiarism and lies does not disqualify a candidate. A place where Biden can take credit for Haight-Ashbury while still against marijuana legalization, Civil Rights Movement while being directly responsible for mass incarceration more often targeting minorities and using “drugs” as pretense, the murder of antiwar protestors at Kent State then fiercely supporting the Iraq war. All the while sternly without empathy for the effects of the system he helped corrupt.
